Job summary

Narda-MITEQ, Hauppauge, NY, seeks a Business Unit Controller to lead Finance, Accounting, IT and Compliance for the BU. This role partners with the GM and executive team to drive financial performance across U.S.

and European operations, ensuring strong internal controls and US GAAP reporting. The position oversees budgeting, forecasting, close processes, audits, and cross-functional collaboration, shaping strategic decisions and profitability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred; government contracting experience a plus.
• Experience leading and developing finance and accounting teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Finance and Accounting activities for the BU's U.S. and international operations.
• Own financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Own the accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process.
• Oversee consolidation and intercompany accounting.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Manage labor and overhead rates.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP and corporate policies.
• Lead and coordinate audit activities and work with Corporate Finance and auditors on technical accounting matters.
• Support government accounting compliance.
• Provide financial information and analysis needed for corporate reporting.
