Job summary

Electro-Matic, a SunSource company, seeks a Motion Control Product Specialist to drive sales growth across an assigned territory by delivering technical expertise, product support, and strategic guidance for Motion Control products. This role partners with customers, outside and inside sales, manufacturers, and internal teams to identify opportunities and develop solutions.

The position requires experience sizing and selecting VFD/Servo systems, and strong customer-focused communication.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree or equivalent; 2+ years in technical/industrial sales.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience with PLC, HMI, VFD, or Servo Drive.
Knowledge of AC Vector and Servo Control preferred.

Responsibilities

Drive growth of Motion Control product sales across an assigned territory through strategic selling and technical support.
Serve as the Motion Control SME for the sales org, providing product selection and guidance.
Size VFD and Servo Motion Control systems based on customer data and requirements.
Size gearboxes/gearmotors using customer data and system requirements.
Provide technical support and pre-selection assistance to customers, reps, and internal teams.
Develop and execute product line sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue and market share.
