Job summary

Motion is seeking an Application Engineer to support outside sales by designing and engineering electronic controls solutions that meet customer system requirements. You will collaborate with sales and customers to refine specifications, develop costing, and prepare proposals for outside sales.

Responsibilities include translating customer requirements, training customers on product technologies, and delivering real-time technical support. Travel up to 40% is expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 0–2 years of related experience preferred.
• Proficient in CAD software and MS Office; strong communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Understands and conveys customer requirements to internal teams.
• Trains customers and outside sales teams on product technologies.
• Provides technical support to outside sales team and customers in real time.
• Maintains expertise on technical products from factory partners.
• Prepares a scope of work and designs solutions for customer applications.
