Job summary

Acme Barricades is hiring a Maintenance of Traffic laborer to perform temporary traffic control operations on roadway projects. You will set up and maintain traffic devices, coordinate detours and lane closures, and work with on-site officials to ensure safety and efficiency.

This role requires physical fitness, the ability to pass screenings, and may involve overtime. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth within a stable company.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in Maintenance of Traffic / Temporary Traffic Control or related industry; open to training the right person.
• High School Diploma/GED and clear written and verbal communication.
• Advanced MOT Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain traffic control devices and signs.
• Manage work-zone detours and lane closures.
• Coordinate with on-site client representatives or officials.
• Load/unload equipment from company trucks.
• Deliver/pick up equipment from jobsites.
• Coordinate traffic control laborers to follow MOT guidelines.
• Complete daily paperwork as required by supervisor.
• If licensed, operate company vehicle per MV rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
