Job summary

Acme Barricades is hiring a Maintenance of Traffic laborer to support roadwork projects with temporary traffic control, signage setup, and safety compliance across sites. You will work with on-site officials and the client to keep traffic moving safely in work zones.

Qualified candidates typically have 2 years MOT experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. Weekly pay, overtime, and a strong benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in Maintenance of Traffic / Temporary Traffic Control or related industry.
• Ability to communicate clearly in written and verbal form.
• Advanced MOT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain traffic control devices and signs.
• Coordinate MOT activity with on-site client representatives.
• Load/unload equipment and deliver/pick up at jobsites.
• Ensure compliance with MOT guidelines and safety regulations.
• Complete daily paperwork and reports as required by supervisor.
• Operate company vehicle if licensed and comply with MVR standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
