Job summary

Arise Financial in Canton, MA is seeking a Loan Servicing Specialist III – Residential to support critical mortgage servicing functions, including loan boarding, post-closing review, and file maintenance. You will ensure accurate entry, documentation, and servicing in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements while delivering exceptional service to members and internal partners.

The role requires 3–5 years of mortgage servicing experience and proficiency with Encompass;

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in mortgage servicing, loan operations, post-closing, or a related lending environment.

Responsibilities

• Review closed loan files to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Board new mortgage and home equity loans accurately into the core processing system using Encompass.
• Verify loan terms, interest rates, payment schedules, escrow information, borrower data, funding amounts, and disbursement records.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies between loan documentation and system data by partnering with underwriting, closing, and post-closing teams.
• Maintain organized and compliant loan records while performing quality control reviews on newly boarded loans.
• Process a variety of servicing transactions, including payment corrections, payoff quotes, loan recasts, ARM notices, and loan modifications.
• Perform daily loan file maintenance and assist with general ledger balancing and reconciliation activities.
• Manage member and internal service requests through Help Scout, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
• Provide phone support for mortgage servicing operations and prepare daily rate sheets.
• Support departmental initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.
