Job summary

Needham Bank is seeking a skilled Loan Operations Senior Servicer to perform complex consumer loan servicing with high accuracy. Responsibilities include loan modifications, construction-to-permanent conversions, investor onboarding, insurance administration, and reconciliations.

You will train others, support process improvements, and ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory guidelines while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree in Business/Finance preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in consumer or mortgage loan servicing or related financial services role.
• Demonstrated knowledge of consumer loan servicing processes, insurance administration, escrow, and investor servicing.
• Experience with core loan servicing systems and intermediate Excel proficiency.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to manage multiple priorities with high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process complex consumer loan servicing transactions including modifications and investor onboarding.
• Review loan documentation for completeness and accuracy throughout servicing lifecycle.
• Interpret loan documentation and product requirements to accurately service loan products.
• Monitor flood and hazard insurance; ensure coverage is maintained and premiums paid.
• Perform monthly reconciliations for investor portfolios and resolve discrepancies.
• Handle credit bureau disputes via e-OSCAR and process ACDVs/AUDs per procedures.
• Monitor servicing reports and queues; resolve outstanding items to maintain data integrity.
• Assist with servicing projects, system testing, and process improvements; update procedures as needed.
• Respond to customer, attorney, and internal inquiries professionally and promptly.
• Serve as backup for critical servicing functions to ensure operational continuity.
