Job summary

Wings Credit Union in Colorado Springs seeks an experienced Mortgage Loan Servicing Manager to supervise the Mortgage Loan Servicing Department and staff, overseeing daily operations, prioritizing workload, and ensuring timely member responses on FNMA, FHA, VA, and construction loan products.

The role requires leadership, strong mortgage product knowledge, and regulatory expertise. You will drive process improvements, train staff, and partner with management to meet departmental goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• 2+ years lending, insurance, or financial services experience.
• 1+ year supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Advanced conflict resolution and problem solving skills.
• Ability to lead by example and be a positive role model to others.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Extensive knowledge of 1st mortgage products (Conventional, FHA, VA, construction, land).
• Extensive knowledge of investor and lending regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational oversight of Mortgage Loan Servicing activities.
• Address escalated member concerns and provide guidance on guidelines/regulatory interpretations.
• Liaise with internal/external members and 3rd party vendors.
• Assist with daily frontline workload and prioritization of tasks.
• Coach and develop staff on a regular basis; conduct evaluations.
• Research, implement, and revise department standards and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Bank Secrecy Act and investor guidelines.
• Manage pipeline and staff scheduling; coordinate cross-team needs.
