Truefinancial is seeking a Mortgage Sales Director in Southfield, MI. The role leads a team of mortgage sales professionals, focusing on coaching, mentoring, and improving sales results while ensuring full regulatory compliance.

Requires MLO license and 5+ years in mortgage origination, with strong leadership and communication skills. In-office position with base salary, commissions, and team bonuses; ongoing training and development are provided.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in mortgage origination or sales leadership.
• Current and active NMLS license.
• Demonstrated success leading and developing sales teams in a high-energy environment.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team-motivation abilities.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage workflows and loan programs (FHA, VA, Conventional, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of mortgage sales professionals and guide them to achieve targets.
• Train, mentor, and drive sales performance while maintaining compliance.
• Develop the mortgage banking team to consistently meet or exceed production targets.
• Monitor and manage the loan pipeline from application through closing.
• Collaborate with operations, processing, and underwriting to streamline workflows.
• Deploy training programs, coaching initiatives, and performance management systems.
