Qualifications

• Candidate should possess strong quantitative, analytical and modeling capabilities.
• Advanced Excel proficiency required for reporting and data manipulation.
• Experience constructing SQL queries and building Power BI reports is essential.
• Familiarity with CAS Software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage data and reporting for Residential Whole Loan Trading Desk transactions.
• Analyze loan data and reports for bids, purchases, and exits.
• Support Secured Lending data reporting related to warehouse financing.
• Contribute to Global Capital Markets data analysis for securitization opportunities.
• Normalize data via scrubbing, calculations, reporting, and quality checks.
• Assist with report creation and analysis.
• Provide data reporting to clients, vendors, rating agencies, and internal teams.

Our client, a leading financial services firm, is looking to hire a Residential Mortgage Data Analyst in Dallas, TX.

Responsibilities

• Manage data and reporting for Residential Whole Loan Trading Desk transactions related to purchasing, exiting, and maintaining trade positions
• Analyze loan data and reports related to pools of residential mortgage loans for bids, purchases, and exits
• Manage data and reporting for the Secured Lending group related to warehouse financing
• Manage and analyze data and reporting for Global Capital Markets related to various asset types for securitization and other opportunities
• Normalize data by analyzing, scrubbing, implementing calculations, generating reports, and performing validations and quality control tests
• Assist with report creation and analysis
• Maintain and analyze essential data and provide reporting to clients, vendors, rating agencies, accountants, internal team members, and management

Requirements

• Strong quantitative, analytical, and modeling skills
• Advanced Excel skills

• CAS Software experience preferred
