U.S. Bank is seeking a detail-oriented loan processor who will review and purchase loans from third-party lenders, ensuring compliance with bank and regulatory guidelines.

The role involves coordinating with lenders, staff, title companies, and other parties to obtain complete documentation and resolve outstanding items. Responsibilities include packaging and submitting government loan files to HUD/VA, delivering loan packages to the Secondary/Pooling Unit for sale, and preparing disclosures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of relevant loan processing experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret guidelines and resolve exceptions.

Responsibilities

• Review loans for compliance with bank, regulatory and investor guidelines.
• Communicate with lenders, staff and title companies to resolve items.
• Package and submit government loan files to HUD/VA for insurance/guaranty.
• Deliver loan packages to Secondary/Pooling Unit for sale on the secondary market.
• Prepare required disclosure information within designated timeframes.
