The Mortgage Servicing Compliance Specialist II will implement new and updated regulations, assess impacts to policies, and ensure accurate interpretation across servicing units. Responsibilities include guiding regulatory updates, maintaining logs, and translating requirements into actionable processes.

Qualifications

• Regulatory compliance knowledge and regulations.
• Ability to analyze risk and assess impact.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Detail-oriented with ability to work independently.
• Financial services and mortgage experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on Regulatory Updates and Policy & Procedure updates for assigned Servicing unit(s).
• Maintain and update logs and project plans to meet departmental requirements.
• Ensure compliance with laws and investor guidelines across applicable entities (RESPA, TILA, FCRA, CFPB, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA).
• Identify new regulatory requirements and assess impact with QA team.
• Review line of business rebuttals to exceptions and develop remediation plans.
• Translate regulatory requirements into actionable business processes and procedures.
• Support in keeping policies updated and compliant with stated requirements.
• Demonstrate alignment with Pennymac's culture and values.
