Job summary

Seacoast Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processing Manager to lead workflow improvements across origination, processing, underwriting and closing, ensuring smooth mortgage journeys from application to closing.

You will mentor teams, monitor SLAs, and drive Lean-driven process enhancements while partnering across departments to deliver efficient, compliant mortgage operations at Seacoast Bank.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of mortgage operations (processing or underwriting) experience required.
• Strong knowledge of conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loan products.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite tools.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, train, and provide guidance to staff on origination, processing, underwriting and closing workflows.
• Monitor file flow to ensure SLA targets are met or exceeded.
• Manage workload to maintain service levels and a positive customer experience.
• Perform root cause analysis and identify indicators of process performance for improvement.
• Identify opportunities within operations and implement Lean-based improvements.
• Lead process improvement initiatives and update policies and procedures as needed.
• Identify waste and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
