Rio Grande Credit Union is seeking a Mortgage Specialist to handle processing, closing, funding, and servicing support. You will gather documents for loan applications, submit to underwriting, and help prepare closing packages while ensuring compliance with REG, TRID, HOEPA, and related regulations.

The role emphasizes precise file management, cross-functional coordination with title companies, and timely loan funding. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential to succeed.

Formación

• Experience with mortgage loan processing, underwriting coordination, and closing activities.
• Familiarity with TRID, HOEPA, and applicable federal/state lending regulations preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Gather required documentation for loan applications and submit to underwriting.
• Coordinate closing with members and title company; balance CD with the title company.
• Review Preliminary Closing Disclosure and update LOS figures as needed.
• Assist with post-closing reviews and loan funding procedures.
• Maintain compliance with REG related requirements and CIP procedures.
