Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred.
• Two or more years of experience in a Real Estate loan department (mortgage processing, closing, or post-closing preferred) with knowledge of mortgage products.
• Detail-oriented, technical-minded with strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Understanding of regulatory guidelines and Secondary Market requirements related to closing documents.
• Basic knowledge of key real estate loan regulations (TRID, RESPA, Reg Z, Reg B, UCC).
• Basic knowledge of Escrow, Title, and Investor processes.
• Analytical skills for compliance and investor reviews of files.
• Proficient in mortgage processing software and MS Office applications.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review mortgage loan documents for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance with investor guidelines.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies, obtain missing documents, and coordinate with escrow, investors, and internal teams.
• Prepare and organize loan files for funding while following policies, procedures, and deadlines.
• Provide clear, professional communication to internal partners and external customers.
• Monitor pipeline status and follow up to ensure timely closings.
