Job summary

HomeXpress is seeking a Post Closer to join the Post Closing team and ensure the accuracy and completeness of loan documentation after closing. You will track, collect, and organize trailing documents for investor delivery.

The role requires at least 2 years of mortgage lending/post-closing experience, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. This is an in-office position with standard hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of mortgage lending, post-closing, and loan documentation experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in business/finance a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to organize documents.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks on trailing documents and ensure completeness before submission to investors.
• Resolve discrepancies or issues in trailing documentation with partners.
• Maintain organized electronic files and records per policies and standards.
• Ensure documents are properly filed and indexed for easy retrieval.
• Review and respond to ad-hoc investor requests for documentation.
• Collaborate with accounting and servicing to streamline post-closing processes.
