Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Mortgage Origination Supervisor to lead a small team of Mortgage Loan Originators.

You will oversee day-to-day loan origination activities, ensure timely processing and closing documentation, and drive loan volume through relationships with real estate professionals and builders. The role requires NMLS registration, knowledge of mortgage products, pricing, and underwriting guidelines, and a focus on compliance and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two or more years of mortgage sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day activities related to loan origination for a small team of Mortgage Loan Originators.
• Ensure documents for processing, underwriting, and closing are secured in a timely manner from appropriate sources.
• Achieve annual loan origination goals set by upper management.
• Establish referral source relationships with real estate brokers, builders and other external sources.
• Interview and recruit new talent and retain employees through development and engagement.
