Job summary

Citizens Bank in Irving, TX is hiring a Mortgage Operations Specialist to coordinate lending activities, process applications, and support closing processes on-site. The tentative start date is 11/2/2026, with a Monday–Friday first shift schedule.

Hours are 40 per week. Training runs 8 weeks from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST, then 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM CST. Pay rate is $22 per hour. This is an Equal Opportunity Employer position offering benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service or sales experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in mortgage or financial services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates mortgage lending operations and activities, such as processing applications and scoring credit, to ensure policy compliance.
• Reviews and modifies operational systems and procedures for the mortgage lending function.
• Performs processing, underwriting, closing and post-closing tasks within mortgage lending; coordinates with other functions.
• Supervises borrowers, brokers, and internal partners to deliver services and meet customer needs.
