Job summary

Guild Mortgage Company in Charleston, SC is seeking a Transaction Coordinator to support loan originators by building complete loan files, coordinating deadlines, and handling administrative tasks across Lead to Contract and Contract to Close duties.

You will manage calendars, pull credit and documents, communicate with applicants and referral sources, prepare disclosures, and maintain data in client databases while ensuring compliance with safety and privacy policies.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience in mortgage lending or related field is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple priorities; strong detail orientation and highly organized.

Responsibilities

Assist originator in appointment setting with prospective and new applicants.
Provide admin support managing client databases and send online pre-qualification links.
Pull and prep web applications and update credit reports/AUS findings for licensed teammates.
Set and confirm appointments and manage calendar.
Prepare and send thank you cards to referral sources and clients.
Act as a point of contact for customers and referral sources, maintaining open communication.
Run credit on loans assigned to an originator and gather required documentation.
Coordinate marketing materials and manage compliant email campaigns to realtors.
