Job summary

Guild Mortgage is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor in Charleston, SC to manage conventional, FHA, VA and Bond loan files from submission to underwriting. You will coordinate with loan officers, borrowers and underwriters to ensure accurate documentation and timely closings.

Monitor processing cycles, resolve issues, and maintain compliance with investor guidelines and regulatory standards in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of loan processing experience, including conventional and FHA.
• Experience with VA and Bond loans preferred.
• Strong relationships with loan officers and partners.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between loan officer, borrower, underwriter, and funding.
• Review loan files for completeness and compliance.
• Monitor processing cycle time to ensure timely closings.
• Identify issues and communicate with consumers and loan officers.
• Provide guidance to less experienced processors.
