Job summary

Guild Mortgage is seeking a detail-oriented Transaction Coordinator to assist originators in building complete loan files for submission, from Lead to Contract and Contract to Close. You will manage appointments, pull credit, prep documents, and communicate with clients and referrals throughout the loan process.

Responsibilities include maintaining databases, supporting processing and underwriting, and ensuring compliance with privacy and SAFE Act policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; minimum of one year mortgage lending or related field experience.
• Strong detail orientation and highly organized; ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with data entry, PDF software, Word, and Excel; excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist originator in appointment setting with prospective and new applicants.
• Provide timely follow-up on leads and maintain conversion metrics.
• Manage client databases and send online pre-qualification links for originators.
• Pull credit reports and AUS findings for licensed teammates; prep web applications.
• Schedule appointments and maintain originator calendars; send follow-up communications.
• Provide administrative support during processing and closing steps; collect and organize loan documentation.
• Communicate status updates to customers and referral sources while upholding privacy policies.
• Support marketing efforts and coordinate email campaigns to realtors.
