Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is seeking a Transaction Coordinator to manage loan files from application through closing. The role pulls and analyzes credit applicant information and reviews income and asset documents, serving as a bridge between clients and loan originators.

As a member of the sales team, the coordinator requests and obtains referrals from current and potential clients, collaborates with loan originators to resolve issues, and ensures timely processing in Encompass, DU and LP

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience, preferred.
• Experience in mortgage loan processing or origination, preferred.
• Knowledge of RESPA and mortgage regulations, preferred.
• Encompass experience, preferred.
• State and Federal NMLS License, desired.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in DU, LP, Microsoft Office & Windows.

Responsibilities

• Primary contact and liaison between clients, Branch Manager, Branch Sales Manager and/or assigned Loan Originator(s).
• Review documentation received within 24 hours of receipt for discrepancies, omissions, verified income calculation, asset verification, and Encompass updates based on verified information; immediately notify Loan Originators of discrepancies found on documentation.
• Track all requested documents in Encompass.
• Collaborate with Loan Originators in resolving problems in files and documents.
• Run DU, stacks and submits files, requests and clears conditions.
• Efficiently meet deadlines while maintaining multiple assignments/projects.
• Provide superior customer service both internally and externally.
• Communicate with both borrowers and realtors.
• Available to work varying hours and overtime if needed.
