Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is seeking a Loan Officer Assistant to support mortgage loan officers in daily duties, improve loan production, and ensure a positive customer experience. You will collaborate with customers, loan officers, and processors to facilitate timely closings and accurate documentation.

The role emphasizes reviewing disclosures, handling documents, and maintaining a proactive pipeline across conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, 203K, and reverse mortgage products.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of mortgage-related experience, including customer contact.
• Previous sales support experience, preferred.
• Salesforce experience, preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing mortgage loan applications and documentation, including phone and computer work, printing, copying, scanning, emailing, and mailing documents.
• Review mortgage loan disclosure packages and deliver them to the borrower.
• Create rate disclosure and re-disclosure packages and deliver them to the borrower.
• Review documents and loan files, identify deficiencies, and notify the loan officer or loan processor.
• Clarify/correct information and obtain additional information as necessary via phone or email.
• Provide general clerical and phone support to loan officers and loan processors.
• Support management in various stages of lending and processing as needed.
• Assist in managing a pipeline of conventional, FHA, VA, USDA loans, 203K and reverse mortgage products.
• Deliver appraisals and/or property valuations to borrowers and obtain receipt proof.
• Track outstanding items on loan files and follow up with customers for timely documentation.
• Facilitate timely closings by coordinating with Title Company and customers.
