Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is seeking a Senior Loan Officer Assistant to manage a residential loan pipeline and support timely progression from application to closing.

The role requires reviewing loan documents for accuracy, coordinating with borrowers, loan officers, processors, underwriters, and title companies to ensure a smooth borrower experience while maintaining compliance with investor and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of mortgage industry experience in similar roles.
• Experience with Conventional, VA, Jumbo loans preferred.
• Mortgage license preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage assigned files from initiation through resolution.
• Coordinate with borrowers, loan officers, processors, underwriters, title companies, real estate agents and others in the transaction.
• Review loan estimates, closing disclosures and related mortgage documentation for accuracy.
• Maintain accurate loan records and update systems in accordance with policies.
• Identify outstanding conditions and potential issues affecting processing timelines.
• Assist in resolving complex loan scenarios by researching requirements and collaborating with partners.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
