Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is seeking a Loan Officer Assistant in Virginia to support mortgage loan officers in daily duties and help grow loan production. You will work directly with CCM customers, loan officers, and processors to ensure a positive customer experience and timely closings.

The role requires at least 1 year of mortgage-related experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Salesforce experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of mortgage-related experience with customer contact.
• Sales support experience preferred.
• Salesforce experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong prioritization and time management abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing mortgage loan applications and documentation via phone and computer tasks.
• Review disclosure packages and deliver to borrowers.
• Create rate disclosure and re-disclosure packages for borrowers.
• Review loan files to identify deficiencies and notify loan officers/processors.
• Clarify/correct information and obtain additional details as needed.
• Provide clerical and phone support to loan officers/ processors.
• Support lending and processing in various stages as directed by management.
• Assist in managing pipelines for conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, 203K, and reverse mortgage products.
• Deliver appraisals/valuations to borrowers and obtain receipts.
• Track outstanding items and follow up for timely documentation.
• Coordinate with Title Company and customers to schedule timely closings.
