Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is seeking a Sales Assistant to support mortgage loan officers in daily duties and to help grow loan production. You will work directly with customers, loan officers, and processors to ensure a smooth loan process and timely closings.

The role requires strong communication, exceptional customer service, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment in Rutherford, NJ.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year of mortgage-related experience, including customer contact.
• Previous sales support experience, preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent prioritization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing mortgage loan applications and documentation.
• Review loan disclosure packages and deliver to borrowers.
• Create rate disclosure and re-disclosure packages for borrowers.
• Track loan files and highlight deficiencies to loan officer/processor.
• Provide general clerical and phone support to loan officers and processors.
• Assist in managing a pipeline of conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and other loans.
• Coordinate with Title Company and customers to schedule closings.
