Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC in California seeks a Senior Loan Officer Assistant to manage residential mortgage loan pipelines and support loans from application to closing. You will review documentation for accuracy and coordinate with borrowers and partners to maintain a high-quality borrower experience.

Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of mortgage processes; experience with Encompass or similar systems and proficiency in MS Office are

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in mortgage operations (loan officer, processor, or similar).
• Experience with Conventional, VA, or Jumbo loans preferred.
• Familiarity with mortgage documentation and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage assigned mortgage loan files from initiation through closing.
• Review loan estimates and disclosures for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with borrowers, loan officers, processors, underwriters, title companies, and real estate agents.
• Identify conditions and documentation requirements to move loans forward.
• Maintain accurate loan records and update systems per policy.
