Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is seeking a Sales Assistant to support mortgage loan officers in daily duties, helping to increase loan production and ensure a positive customer experience.

You will review loan applications, prepare disclosures, manage a diverse pipeline (conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, 203K, reverse mortgage), and coordinate with borrowers, title companies, and processors to facilitate timely closings. NJ based role; strong communication required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• A minimum of 1 year of mortgage-related experience, including customer contact.
• Previous sales support experience, preferred.
• Salesforce experience, preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing mortgage loan applications and documentation, including phone and computer work, printing, copying, scanning, emailing, and overnighting documents.
• Review mortgage loan disclosure packages and deliver them to the borrower.
• Create rate disclosure and re-disclosure packages and deliver them to the borrower.
• Review documents and entire loan files and highlight deficiencies for follow-up with the loan officer/processor.
• Clarify/correct information and obtain additional information via phone or email as needed.
• Provide general clerical and phone support to loan officers and/or loan processors.
• Support management in various stages and areas of lending and processing as needed.
• Assist in managing a pipeline of conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, 203K, and reverse mortgage products.
• Deliver appraisals and/or property valuations to the borrower and retrieve proof of receipt.
• Track outstanding items on all loan files and follow up with customers for timely documentation.
• Facilitate timely loan closings by coordinating with the Title Company and borrower.
