Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is seeking a Senior Loan Officer Assistant to manage residential mortgage loan pipelines and support timely progression from application to closing. You’ll review loan docs for accuracy, coordinate with borrowers and key stakeholders, and resolve issues impacting approvals and timelines while maintaining borrower experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of mortgage industry experience in related roles.
• Experience with Conventional, VA, Jumbo loans preferred.
• Mortgage originator license preferred.
• Knowledge of residential mortgage documentation and processes.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; teamwork oriented.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage assigned files from initiation through closing.
• Resolve routine issues and escalate complex matters when needed.
• Monitor mortgage pipeline to ensure timely progression.
• Review loan files for completeness and compliance with requirements.
• Coordinate with borrowers, loan officers, processors, underwriters, and others.
• Identify conditions and documentation needs impacting timelines.
• Assist in resolving complex loan scenarios with internal/external partners.
• Review Loan Estimates and Closing Disclosures for accuracy.
• Maintain accurate loan records and update systems per policy.
• Prioritize deadlines and manage multiple loan files simultaneously.
• Provide status updates and ensure timely resolution of conditions.
• Suggest workflow improvements to enhance efficiency and borrower experience.
