Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is seeking a Loan Officer Assistant to support loan officers in daily duties to boost production and ensure a smooth customer experience. You will work directly with customers, loan officers, and processors to facilitate timely closings and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities include reviewing loan applications, preparing disclosures, managing a diverse pipeline (conventional, FHA, VA, USDA), and coordinating with title companies to schedule closings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year mortgage-related experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills essential.
• Salesforce experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing mortgage loan applications and documentation.
• Review loan disclosures and deliver to borrower.
• Create rate disclosure and re-disclosure packages.
• Review loan files and highlight deficiencies to prevent issues.
• Clarify/correct information and obtain additional details by phone or email.
• Provide general clerical and phone support to loan officers/processors.
• Support lending and processing in various stages as needed.
• Manage a pipeline of conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, 203K and reverse mortgage products.
• Deliver appraisals/valuations to borrowers and obtain proof of receipt.
• Track outstanding items and follow up for timely documentation.
• Coordinate with Title Company and borrower to schedule closings.
