Job summary

Wintrust Mortgage is seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Originator to bring in new loan business and guide borrowers from application to closing. You will serve as the primary contact for applicants and coordinate with processing teams.

The role requires at least two years in loan origination, strong knowledge of mortgage products and regulatory guidelines, and ability to build relationships with real estate professionals. Excellent communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of mortgage loan origination experience.
• Thorough knowledge of pricing and underwriting requirements of various mortgage products and programs.
• Knowledge of residential mortgage processing, underwriting and closing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and reviews a new mortgage application and matches the applicant with a program.
• Maintains frontline contact with borrowers throughout the process.
• Develops referral relationships with realtors, builders, bankers and other sources to solicit new business.
