Job summary

The Dart Bank in Mason, MI is seeking a detail-oriented Loan Servicing Specialist to support day-to-day servicing of consumer, mortgage, and home equity loans. You will handle account maintenance, escrow monitoring, payoff processing, insurance claims, and loan documentation while delivering responsive service to customers, internal teams, investors, and third parties.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage changing priorities with accuracy and compliance,

Qualifications

• Capable of performing at a high level in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to read and understand loan documents.

Responsibilities

• Responds to internal and external operation requests via email and phone, including early phases of delinquency.
• Responds to customer, investor, or other 3rd party inquiries and documents research per guidelines.
• Monitors and analyzes escrow accounts including PMI, taxes, flood and hazard insurance.
• Process insurance loss claims for customers.
• Performs new loan review and daily maintenance for Consumer, Mortgage and Home Equity Loans.
• Calculates and prepares payoff statements, verifications and discharges.
• Records documents such as subordinations, modifications, or change in terms agreements when necessary.
• Adheres to all Federal and State laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act.
