This role involves working directly with borrowers to evaluate repayment options, establish workout arrangements, and document activities for compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2–5 years in mortgage servicing, default, or loan operations.
• Loss mitigation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with software upgrades and conversions.
• Monitor and contact delinquent borrowers.
• Determine eligibility for workout programs.
• Report delinquencies to Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae and foreclosures as required.
• Set up forbearance or repayment plans.
• Respond to internal and external requests via email and phone.
• Respond to inquiries with research and documentation per guidelines.
• Monitor escrow accounts (PMI, taxes, hazard insurance).
• Calculate and prepare payoff statements, verifications, and discharges.
• Perform other duties as assigned and ensure compliance with laws.
