Job summary

Village Capital & Investment LLC in Draper, UT is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to drive refinance and loan assumption transactions.

You will educate borrowers on eligibility, convert inbound leads, and collaborate with processing, underwriting, and closing teams in a high-volume, phone-based environment. Must have an active NMLS license and at least one year of inside sales experience.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple borrower pipelines effectively.
• Comfortable working in a high-volume, phone-based sales environment.
• Proven time management and organizational skills.
• Basic proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Active NMLS license required; deactivated licenses accepted; company covers reactivation costs.
• Minimum 1 year of inside sales or call center experience.
• Must have proven experience with Assumption loans and related processes.
• Knowledge of VA, FHA, USDA, and Conventional loan programs.

Responsibilities

• Communicate refinance and loan assumption options for VA and FHA borrowers.
• Convert inbound and transferred leads into completed loan applications.
• Educate borrowers on Assumption loan processes, eligibility requirements, and financial benefits.
• Make 30-120 daily contacts (calls, texts, emails) using CRM systems and structured scripts.
• Collaborate with internal processing, underwriting, and closing teams to ensure smooth loan execution.
• Guide borrowers through both refinance and loan assumption transactions from start to finish.
