Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of federal and state mortgage regulations (CFPB, FHA, VA, USDA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac).
• Experience with loan origination systems and compliance monitoring tools.
• Ability to interpret regulatory updates and implement controls.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and communicate regulatory and investor updates affecting mortgage originations.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Conduct compliance reviews and QA testing of origination files and processes.
• Provide day-to-day compliance support to origination staff.
• Coordinate audits, examinations, and investor reviews.
• Design and deliver compliance training programs.
• Collaborate with Risk, Legal, and Operations teams on trends and actions.
• Maintain documentation of compliance activities and remediation efforts.
