Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to originate loans in an assigned territory and actively solicit loan sales. You will take applications, perform preliminary underwriting reviews, and submit files to processing for approval.

Role requires NMLS registration and a high school diploma, with at least two years in Mortgage, Sales, or Real Estate. Expect to spend ~50% of time away from bank locations and travel within the market.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two or more years of Mortgage, Sales, or Real Estate experience.

Responsibilities

• Originate mortgage loans in assigned territory and solicit loan sales.
• Take applications and conduct preliminary underwriting reviews.
• Submit applications to processing and underwriting for approval.
• Ensure required documents are secured in a timely manner.
• Spend at least 50% of time conducting activities away from U.S. Bank locations.
