U.S. Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to originate loans in an assigned Non-Bank territory. The role involves taking applications, performing preliminary underwriting reviews, and submitting files to processing for approval.

Expect frequent travel away from branch locations to meet sales objectives. Requirements include NMLS registration, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 2+ years in mortgage, sales, or real estate.

Competenze

• NMLS registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z is required.
• High school degree or equivalent is required.
• Two or more years of Mortgage, Sales, or Real Estate experience.

Mansioni

• Originate mortgage loans in an assigned Non-Bank territory and take applications; conduct preliminary underwriting reviews.
• Submit loan applications to processing and underwriting for approval.
• Follow up to secure documents required for processing, underwriting, and closing from appropriate sources.
• Spend at least 50% of time conducting activities away from U.S. Bank locations to solicit loan sales.
