Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university.
• One to two years of related experience and/or training.
• Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator as required by state.
• Possess general mortgage banking understanding (including but not limited to: lock procedures, program analysis, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory timelines).
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Interview mortgage applicants to understand and educate them on financing options.
• Be accessible to the buyer and involved individuals to answer questions and provide updates.
• Maintain reports and notes within origination software and CRM systems.
• Review new leads daily and contact them to earn their business.
• Daily Pipeline Management to ensure smooth loan process.
• Make presentations on loan products in sales meetings and builder communities.
• Respond to Operations to facilitate an efficient loan process.
• Provide necessary disclosures within regulatory timelines.
• Conduct business professionally to serve customers and company profits.
• Able to work overtime and travel overnight.
• Market products to potential sources and develop mortgage leads.
