Primary Residential Mortgage, Inc. is seeking an experienced Loan Officer to join our growing retail team.

This role emphasizes self-sourced referrals, realtor partnerships, and delivering an exceptional home financing experience from application to close. You will manage your own pipeline, build local market relationships, and stay current on conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and jumbo products while guiding clients through the loan process with expertise and integrity.

Qualifications

• Active NMLS license required.
• Previous mortgage loan origination experience preferred.
• Proven ability to self-source and develop referral-based business.
• Established referral relationships and local market presence strongly preferred.
• Strong sales, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and jumbo loan products.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Originate residential mortgage loans through self-generated business and referral partnerships.
• Develop and maintain relationships with realtors, builders, financial planners, CPAs, and other referral sources.
• Build a consistent pipeline through networking, prospecting, and local market engagement.
• Consult with borrowers to evaluate financial and credit data to determine financing solutions.
• Guide clients through the mortgage process from application through closing.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and company lending regulations.
• Utilize CRM and marketing tools to manage leads, referrals, and ongoing client communication.
• Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure timely and smooth loan closings.
• Stay informed on mortgage products, market trends, and industry guidelines.
