Job summary

Primary Residential Mortgage, Inc. is seeking an experienced Loan Officer to join our growing retail team.

This role focuses on self-sourced referrals, realtor partnerships, and community networking to originate residential loans. You will manage your pipeline, guide borrowers from application to closing, and stay compliant with lending regulations; PRMI supports with CRM, marketing tools, and local leadership.

Qualifications

• Active NMLS license required.
• Previous mortgage loan origination experience preferred.
• Self-source and develop referral-based business.
• Established referral relationships and local market presence preferred.
• Strong sales, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and jumbo loan products.

Responsibilities

• Originate residential mortgage loans through self-generated business and referral partnerships.
• Develop and maintain relationships with realtors, builders, financial planners, CPAs, and other referral sources.
• Build a consistent pipeline through networking, prospecting, and local market engagement.
• Consult with borrowers to evaluate financial and credit data to determine financing solutions.
• Guide clients through the mortgage process from application through closing.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and company lending regulations.
• Utilize CRM and marketing tools to manage leads, referrals, and ongoing client communication.
• Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure timely and smooth loan closings.
• Stay informed on mortgage products, market trends, and industry guidelines.
