Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of mortgage lending experience.
• Mortgage production experience with external referral partners (realtors, builders, financial planners) is required.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Prior Mortgage Loan Officer experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Completes mortgage applications for submission to loan processing and underwriting.
• Evaluates loan requests, analyzes financial data, and determines qualification of collateral and customer credit history.
• Maintains contact with loan customers and communicates progress; collects required documentation.
• Structures loans to comply with lending practices and regulations.
• Develops marketing plans and builds relationships with potential customers and referral partners.
• Cross-sells bank products and services; answers inquiries from customers.
