Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year mortgage lending experience with proven production.
• Abundant mortgage experience with external referrals (realtors, builders, financial planners).

Responsibilities

• Completes mortgage applications for submission to loan processing and underwriting departments.
• Evaluates loan requests, analyzes financial data, and determines qualification of collateral and credit history.
• Maintains contact with loan customers, communicating progress and obtaining required documentation.
• Structures loan to comply with lending practices and Federal regulations.
• Establishes a detailed marketing plan including potential and existing customers and frequency of contact.
• Answers customer calls and walk-in discussions about loan products and qualification information.
• Makes sales calls to develop new business or retain current business.
• Cross-sells other bank products and services.
• Reads surveys and appraisals and takes steps to correct issues.
• Participates in networking to promote loan products.
