Job summary

Guild Mortgage Company in Olympia, WA is seeking a Loan Officer to serve borrowers by guiding them through the origination process, gathering documents, and coordinating with underwriters and processors to ensure a smooth loan experience.

You will educate clients on mortgage products, answer rate and status questions, build referral networks, and deliver excellent service while staying compliant with lending guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of experience in Mortgage lending or related field.
• NMLS License.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one consultations with clients to understand their financial goals and assess eligibility for mortgage loans.
• Educate clients on various mortgage products, terms, and options, offering personalized recommendations.
• Answer customer inquiries involving rates, products, and loan application status to ensure quality service.
• Assist clients in completing mortgage applications, collecting necessary documentation, and ensuring compliance with lending guidelines.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with referral sources to generate prospects for loans.
• Collaborate with underwriters, processors, realtors, and lenders to facilitate a seamless loan approval process.
• Lock in rate and review CD to ensure fees and cash at closing are consistent with commitment to Customer.
