Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is seeking a Loan Officer Assistant in Illinois to support loan officers in daily duties and help achieve timely loan closings. You will work directly with CCM customers, loan officers, processors, and title companies to ensure a smooth, positive experience from application to closing.

You will review mortgage loan applications and disclosures, create rate and re-disclosures, manage a pipeline for conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, 203K and reverse mortgages, and provide

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 1 year mortgage-related experience with customer contact.
• Salesforce experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and prioritization skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing mortgage loan applications and documentation.
• Review disclosure packages and deliver them to the borrower.
• Create rate disclosure and re-disclosure packages and deliver to the borrower.
• Review documents and entire loan files and highlight deficiencies; notify loan officer/processor.
• Clarify/correct information and obtain additional information via phone or email.
• General clerical and phone support to loan officers and/or loan processors.
• Assist in managing a pipeline consisting of conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loans, along with 203K and reverse mortgage products.
• Deliver appraisals and/or property valuations to the borrower and retrieve proof of receipt.
• Track outstanding items on all loan files and follow up with customers to ensure timely receipt of necessary documentation.
• Facilitate timely loan closings by working directly with the Title Company and customer to schedule.
