Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is seeking a Loan Officer Apprentice in Tucson, AZ to support loan officers from application through closing. This role serves as a liaison between clients, LOs, and internal teams, delivering excellent customer service and ensuring smooth processing.

The position emphasizes administrative efficiency, documentation review, credit pull preparation, and coordination with processing staff.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of mortgage or financial services experience.
• NMLS licensing (State and Federal) preferred.
• Prior sales support or mortgage assistant experience preferred.
• Experience with Encompass software preferred.
• Knowledge of RESPA and mortgage regulations preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact between clients, Branch Managers, and assigned LOs during the loan process.
• Receive telephone applications and schedule appointments for LOs and realtors.
• Submit complete loan applications and ensure documents are tracked in Encompass.
• Review and validate documents within 24 hours of receipt and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage multiple assignments within deadlines.
• Pull and prepare credit reports for assessment.
• Ensure file setup aligns with CCM’s policies and procedures.
