Job summary

Kind Lending is seeking experienced Retail Loan Consultants to grow our residential mortgage business in Washington. You will proactively solicit new loan opportunities, network with real estate professionals, and build a residual pipeline to meet monthly and annual sales goals.

You will analyze borrowers' finances, recommend the best loan products, and guide applications through origination with our team. A three-year retail origination track record and an active NMLS license are required.

Qualifications

• Three or more years’ full-time retail loan origination experience.
• Active and/or Approved-inactive NMLS license in the state of business.
• Ability to structure and price loans.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated mortgage professional with strong organizational skills.
• Experience with FHA, VA, conventional, jumbo, refinance and purchase loans.
• High School diploma; some college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Builds rapport with borrowers to help achieve mortgage goals.
• Consult with customers to analyze finances and recommend loan products.
• Ensure loans meet customer needs and Kind Lending standards.
• Coordinate loan origination process with operations staff.
• Input and upload application data into loan origination software.
• Structure and price loans accurately per Kind Lending guidelines.
