Job summary

Wealthfront is seeking an experienced mortgage loan closer to join our MOps team and drive accurate, compliant closings for complex loans. You will coordinate with title companies, escrows, borrowers, and internal teams to ensure timely funding and flawless documentation.

As a senior member, you will review CDs and closing documents, manage the funding process, and handle escalations while upholding regulatory standards. This role offers a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years mortgage loan closing experience.
• Proficient with LOS systems and closing platforms.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations including TRID.
• Experience training and mentoring.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead final review of complex loans (multi-lien, CEMA).
• Coordinate with title companies, escrow and borrowers to close.
• Prepare and review CDs and loan documents to ensure compliance.
• Manage funding process, wire requests, and funding review.
• Lead complex closing transactions and provide expertise on loan documentation.
• Maintain loan pipeline and prioritize deadlines to meet high-volume activity.
• Resolve escalations related to title, escrow, compliance and funding.
• Adopt company values and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
