Job summary

Wealthfront Corporation is seeking an experienced mortgage loan closer to join Wealthfront MOps as we build and scale a tech-enabled mortgage process. You will guide clients through the final steps of their home loan journey with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and a smooth closing experience.

This role offers exposure to a cutting-edge, fast-growing team and cross-functional collaboration across origination and post-closing functions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years mortgage loan closing experience
• Proficiency in LOS systems, document prep software and closing platforms
• Strong knowledge of closing guidelines and regulations
• Experience training and mentoring staff
• Understanding of state and federal lending regulations
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead final review of complex loans (multi-lien transactions; CEMA)
• Coordinate with title companies, escrow agents, and borrowers to facilitate closing
• Prepare and review CDs, loan documents, and escrow instructions for compliance
• Ensure all loan closing packages meet compliance standards
• Verify final loan terms, fees, and funding details before closing
• Collaborate with processing, origination, and post-closing departments
• Manage funding process including wire requests and funding review
• Lead complex closing transactions and provide expertise on documentation and funding
• Maintain loan pipeline and prioritize deadlines
