This full-time role supports loan officers, gathers documentation, updates LOS, and coordinates with processors, underwriters, title companies, and appraisers to keep loans moving.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and organized, with MS Office proficiency and a willingness to learn Conventional, FHA, VA, and RD loan programs.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in mortgage, banking, or financial services.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of Conventional, FHA, VA, and RD loans (preferred).

MORTGAGE LOAN ASSISTANT

This role can be based anywhere in the state, with a preference for candidates who live within 30 miles of a First Service Bank branch. We’re looking for a Mortgage Loan Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves staying organized, and enjoys helping customers through one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives.

This is a customer-facing role, so you’ll work directly with borrowers throughout the mortgage process—answering questions, gathering documentation, providing updates, and helping create a smooth, positive experience from application through closing. You’ll also work closely with our mortgage lenders to keep loans moving forward accurately and efficiently.

What You Will Do:
