Job summary

First Service Bank in Conway, Arkansas, is seeking a full-time Mortgage Loan Assistant to support our mortgage team through the loan process from application to closing. The role is customer-facing, organized, and deadline-driven, and can be based anywhere in the state with statewide flexibility.

You will collect and review borrower documentation, coordinate with processors and appraisers, and keep loan files complete and on track while providing exceptional service to borrowers and lenders

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist Loan Officers with new loan applications and file setup
• Collect and review borrower documentation (income, assets, credit)
• Communicate missing information to borrowers
• Enter and update data in the Loan Origination System (LOS)
• Monitor loan files for completeness before processing
• Coordinate with processors, underwriters, title companies, and appraisers
• Track deadlines and maintain accurate documentation
• Provide exceptional service from application through closing
